Don’t Believe the Hype!

62580792Time to come clean with another personal confession:

I listen to a lot of Rap and Hip Hop music…

Not the current stuff, but old-school, throwback rap, like Snoop Dogg, NWA and Public Enemy.

Maybe it’s from my time living in L.A., a block from Pico and Crenshaw, in the early 90’s. That’s when rap was at its peak, IMHO…

Snoop has always been my fave, but Public Enemy and Chuck D were pretty badass in their day. (And who could forget Flavor Flav’s crazy clock necklaces!)

I liked “Don’t Believe the Hype” (1988). That song holds up surprisingly well for being almost 30 years old!

“Don’t Believe the Hype” could easily be the anthem or theme song for most Online Marketing!

We’ve seen some pretty outrageous claims lately! And if something sounds to good to be true, it probably is…

In fact, I was being interviewed recently for a video summit, and the host asked “How to you get more video views?” I think they expected me to share a secret or magic bullet.

But what I said instead was simply “Create great content, then promote the crap out of it!” In other words, do the work!

If you’re tired of overblown claims and ridiculous promises, you’ll probably want to check out my Video Green Room coaching and mastermind group.

We share practical and do-able advice for getting your videos done consistently and effectively.

In other words, I help you do the work and get it done!

There’s no substitute for solid coaching, training and accountability – and that’s exactly what you’ll find week after week in the Video Green Room.

I hope you’ll join this growing and supportive community. No hype, just results!

Thanks,

Lou
